Field Notes

Description:

Large orange and yellow flowers with very long stamens. There is a single flower on the stalk, and other dead flowers on other stalks, which leads me to believe this flower opens up a new flower every day. About 1 meter or a little higher tall. Looks to be in the Liliaceae family to me?

Habitat:

On the side of the road in an oak forest.
