Description:

A very energetic species which frequently slams itself into the sheet and flashes its hindwings in the process.

Notes:

I may have seen an adult of this species before, but I'm not sure. They are very hard to photograph. I've seen a caterpillar of this species before, though.

Looks like a large yellow underwing in summertime indeed, lots of company... =)
