Description:

Family: Noctuidae, Subfamily: Agaristinae (Wood-Nymphs and Foresters) Found on grape vines or Virginia Creeper. Woods/lawn edge. Total length: 38 mm (1.50 inches long) Vertical black and white bands with one black spotted orange band on each segment. head is orange with black spots. Rear of abdomen has large white smudge. Long white hair (sparse)
