Description:

flight is erratic. Though it is not as plentiful as the Common Evening Brown, it shares the undergrowth during the rest of the day. Not unusual sight under fruit bearing trees.

Habitat:

it generally inhabits open grasslands. The flight is very weak, barely rising a foot or two above the ground.

Notes:

Larvae feeds on plants of family Poaceae such as grass and paddy.
