If you want to err on the side of caution (because there are a number of species) stick with a genus-level ID ... that would be written "Philadelphus sp."

Hi, priyagrace. Thanks for the additional photo. There seems to be a little variation in the leaves but I think, yes, English dogwood ... Philadelphus coronarius. And, despite the common name, not a member of the dogwood family.

Hi, priyagrace. I'm pretty sure this is English dogwood, also called Sweet mock orange ... Philadelphus coronarius. It's a shrub, right? Do you have a photo that shows the leaves better?
