Derrick, I think this might be meadow salsify. Thank you for the suggestion and helpful ID! I remember seeing the flower and it didn't have the long bracts that the western salsify has. Thanks again!
This was a lot taller and bigger than a dandelion. About 2-3 feet tall and the flower was probably 2-3 inches wide. It would have been helpful if I put that in the description... sorry!
Its Dandelion ....After beautiful yellow colored flowers , the yellow leaves changed like this !!
