Field Notes

Description:

A strange little Plant Hopper of the Family Derbidae. The body was about 5 mm, the body with wings about 1 cm. The wings are mostly transparent with a yellow tinge and red on the outer edge of the upper wings.

Habitat:

Came to an ultraviolet light in the garden, San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters.
