Field Notes

Description:

Seal, solid light color coat

Habitat:

Petty Harbour, Newfoundland, Atlantic Canada

Notes:

He appeared cold, holding his paws in close and curling in his tail. Didn't want to touch the water. Strange behaviour. Wasn't afraid of people. Not sure what species this is. It's not a harp seal. Maybe grey?

Thank you Mauna! I don't know why I didn't think of checking the Ocean Science Centre.
He/she is very cute. You can look at this link to decide which species it is: http://www.mun.ca/osc/seal-lab/nlseals.php
