This one is not a pet, but it does like my wildlife garden. I just wish it would stay away from the side with dogs. I am located on a small peninsula in a lake. We find them wandering through the front drainage ditches to get from one side of the peninsula to the other. I was glad to see that this one was well healed. Now if it just keeps out of trouble, it will grow to be old. :)
Lovely!! My pet Three Toe Turtle, had wounds in her shell from kids BB guns, but she was fine and was with me for many years, smartest turtle I ever had.
