Field Notes

Description:

about 2", very similar to my previous spotting but I believe it is a different species

Habitat:

disturbed forest, urban

Notes:

I spotted this while hiking on a huge, partially forested hill behind the town of Salento. It's not very wild at all but had enough vegetation and forest cover that I consistently spotted cool things the few times I hiked there.

Thanks bayucca for the ID. I find these ones really tough to ID from learnaboutbutterflies.com. The differences are so subtle. Thank you Maria.
