Personally, I thought of Swordfish, which is pretty close to a Marlin, same family, along with Sailfish.
A bee with a javelin! The closest I can think is the Marlin fish. This is great!
Thanks Fyn and Jopy, this one is in my book, I just didn't look carefully enough! I had visions of it using that proboscis to stab its prey or enemies!
That's a Bee Fly - Bombyliidae. Not sure what species you have there -- http://www.google.com/url?sa=i&source=images&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&docid=Tv27ZdBjaIxMdM&tbnid=NIBi1iWSbU0fiM:&ved=0CAgQjRw&url=http%3A%2F%2Fsimple.wikipedia.org%2Fwiki%2FBombyliidae&ei=gNZzU-jSEdOssQSnx4HgCQ&psig=AFQjCNHaUrYeERB_r21Zwd_6_7Dm84Zy-A&ust=1400186880403483
