Field Notes

Description:

The Robin's tiny blue eggs where in a nest made from sticks and grass. The nest was tucked in a small pine tree by my mailbox. The eggs were a brilliant blue and there was two eggs, even though in the picture you can only see one.

Habitat:

Robins are usually found on lawns eating worms from the ground. Robins pretty much live anywhere. From cities and big towns to small towns like Halifax.

Notes:

Robins eggs are so beautiful and I always find some in my yard in the spring and early summer. On the " all about birds" website I confirmed that robins were both city and country birds.
