Field Notes

Description:

Male and female mating. Total length: 22-28 mm. Male is underneath and lighter blue. Female is medium blue.

Habitat:

Most common on ponds, lakes, canals, any kind of water where there is vegetation in the water or at the edges. Found at edge of Weissport Canal, Weissport, Pennsylvania.
