Field Notes

Description:

Small coppery brown Stink bugs mating. They have the tip of the scutellum white and strong spines on the outer edges of the pronotum. The antennae are banded and the legs are yellow. The underside has a very nice design of connecting triangles in black and white. Family Pentatomidae.

Habitat:

Overgrown field, semi-urban area, outskirts of San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters.
