Description:

Semi-circular polypore with white to cream upper surface that is slightly lumpy. Underside covered with round, elongate, to maze-like pores.

Trametes gibbosa is a cause of white rot in hardwoods.

Habitat:

On a fallen hardwood on a path in a dense mixed hardwood forest.
