Bullfrog

The American bullfrog provides a food source, especially in the Southern and some areas of the Midwestern United States. While occasionally kept as pets, the bullfrog will still bite even when tamed, and can live 16 years or more in captivity. PetWatch, a project of EcoHealth Alliance advising on the suitability of different species as pets, has classified bullfrogs as "worst choice pets".
