Field Notes

Description:

This coppery coloured bug was about 3 cm long including his antennae. Very polished looking with black trim on his wings, black tips on his legs and black eyes. Flying insect.

Habitat:

Potato plants in my garden at Albion Under the Trees, Maple Ridge, BC in the Pacific Northwest temperate rainforest.

Notes:

Flew away right after these photos.
