Description:

Nymphs produce wax from special glands on the abdomen and other parts of the body. These are hydrophobic and help conceal the insects. At a certain point, the wax entirely covers the nymph. Adult females of many families also produce wax which may be used to protect eggs.

I thought this nymph looked very cute.
