Field Notes

Description:

1-3 m shrubs. Inflorescences up to 25 cm long. Clustered red flowers with red-pink corolla. Seem to have the shape of flowers atracting pollinators as hummingbirds.

Habitat:

Santa Elena Cloud Forest.
