Field Notes

Description:

First spotted a few weeks ago these fungi have changed dramatically although unable to grow to the usual size due to oncoming drought. They have also developed a gaudy turquoise green bloom on some parts. Gills of course have gone totally rusty. Here is how they looked at their glowing best http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/27943007

Habitat:

Suburban roadside sports field.

Notes:

Not sure what the coppery bloom is... yet to research that one. It was all over the right cap as well although not so strong. Copper ??
