Why should I be angry? I'm looking for help and am happy to learn. After all I haven't been able to figure this one out on my own. I understand that the Eurasian Wren is more reddish on top and lighter, but my Svensson (German edition) says that the Northatlantic subspecies would be darker and have a longer beak. A wren coming from the British Isles is much more likely than one coming all the way from Northamerica, right? Unless it's a completely different bird altogether. ;)
Hehe Ursula don't get angry :). The color of this bird does not fit to Euroasian wren, it's too dark color but it looks more like the one Stian suggested. But of course maybe he missed to check its location which should not have winter wren.
Could it be the Eurasian Wren (Troglodytes troglodytes)?
Thanks for your suggestion, Stian. I know birds have wings and I know they use them, but I doubt the chance of finding a Northamerican bird in a German park is very high.
