Description:

As implied by the name, its head has a copper tone to it.

Habitat:

Spotted in Strouds Run State Park, Athens, Ohio.

Notes:

It has some good camouflage: I didn't notice it until I was standing about four feet away.

That was actually my first time at Strouds, so I got pretty lucky!
I've never seen copperheads at strouds, nice find! I'll have to keep an eye out next time I jump in the water.
