Description:

A medium-sized Stink Bug, 10mm aprox. mottled brown in color, white-yellowish legs with dark spots, this make me think is on Podisus maculiventris. One spine on each humeral angle.

Habitat:

Spotted at Campuhan Ridge Walk, Ubud - Bali.

Notes:

The spined soldier bug, Podisus maculiventris is an insect in the family Pentatomidae.
Is a predatory stink bug which preys on a wide variety of other arthropods, especially larval forms of Lepidoptera and Coleoptera. The adult has a prominent spine on each "shoulder."
