Description:

This cast off skin casing (exuvia) was retrieved by one of the rangers on the reserve after watching the hawker emerge from it, it was shown to me as they knew I would want to take its photo for here. the exuvia was around 70mm long and attached to a reed head.

Habitat:

found by a ranger at Potteric Carr nature reserve Doncaster.
