Cicada

Although you will hear these little critters everywhere you go in this part of Turkey during the long hot summer months, it is very rare that you get to see one as they are mostly high up in the trees. As you pass the many fruit orchards around this area the sound is deafening as they all call using the organs within their body to generate the sound.
