Field Notes

Description:

Rounded head, brownish -white on dorsal surface, bands on wings.

Habitat:

Spotted with a large green caterpillar in its beak, The bird was seen sitting on the tall shade trees of the Non-such tea estate.

Notes:

It thrashed the caterpillar much like a washerman would thrash clothes and ate it.
