Description:

You can see the nearby office buildings reflected in the pond as the beaver swam away from us and toward some logs on a far bank.

Habitat:

Beavers occasionally are found in roadside ditches, drainage ditches, and sewage ponds and are becoming more common in urban areas.

Notes:

Spotted at a wooded detention/retention pond in an office building complex in Kennesaw, GA
