Description:
Small brown and white psyllid about 3 mm long with red eyes. It was resting on the edge of a leaf with its head down and abdomen up as seen in the first image. The third image is of one that has a black band just above the eyes. D. citri "is an efficient vector of the bacterium Candidatus liberibacter asiaticus that causes Huanglongbing disease (HLB). This disease is one of the most devastating diseases of citrus; causing leaves to yellow, fruit to become bitter and eventually death of the tree."

Lemon tree in backyard. "Native to S. Asia, adventive in NA".
