Field Notes

Description:

FW (forewing) is variably grayish brown to mossy green. Scalloped AM and PM lines are double, often filled with orange scales. Wavy ST line is a row of black wedges. HOSTS: Deciduous trees and woody plants, including apple, willow, and hickory.

Habitat:

Attracted to light in open area bordered by mixed woodland.
