Field Notes

Habitat:

Pine tree in rural section of city. Adjacent to Great Dismal Swamp Wildlife Refuge - one of the largest, if not the largest, patch of wild habitat on the USA's east cast.

Notes:

Watched it for a long time, as it foraged beside a Red-Bellied Woodpecker on lone pine tree. Red-winged blackbirds fed above in same tree, and Robins fed on the ground below.
