Description:

I found this one right off a walking trail in the Barton Creek Greenbelt. I think he's a TX Alligator Lizard, since that's the closest match.

The lack of a distinct neck does point to an Alligator lizard.
I didn't get a good look at the claws. I swore I found a perfect match online, but got distracted by work and will try to find out again.
does it have distinctive claws or anything?
