Field Notes

Description:

Large, climbing vine with axillary clusters of white flowers. Blooms are delicate, feathery and have a very sweet aroma that lingers in the air. Trifoliate green leaves. This particular vine is climbing on wild blackberry bushes.

Habitat:

Edge of drainage ditch and roadside. Full sun. Nearby mixed hardwood forest and field.

Notes:

I may get better photos of this beautiful vine later. Blackberry thorns make it difficult to get good shots!
