Field Notes

Description:

Small 3 mm grey discs which apparently have a convex, slightly warty surface initially and then become flattened, convoluted and distorted by pressing against other discs. Some had a white soft margin. The undersides of these discs were white. There was no visible stalk.

Habitat:

Spotted on a burnt eucalyptus log in a reserve. Fire at the reserve about 4 months ago.
