Field Notes

Description:

Tiny insect with red head and black body. Antennae are branched.

Habitat:

Suntaley khola is a remote village in West Bengal, India with the River Moorti flowing by it. There is only one narrow motorable road that ends by the river. Lots of vegetation growing low. Many tall trees too. Very biodiverse. Spotted in the resort we stayed at.

Notes:

It was so close to a small moth that I have made two spotting; both unidentified as yet.
