Description:

Also known as Eastern Dwarf Tree Frog, Green Reed Frog, Reed Frog. Tiny less than 10mm in length this little frog is not yet fully grown, but shows the silvery grey colour form with distinctive eye stripes and speckles of light dark colour on body. Feeds on small insects.

Habitat:

Found in eastern Australia near water or around plants that have the ability to hold water in the leaf folds such as palms, cycads. This one found near man made dam resting on reeds growing around the dam edge.
