Description:

Canadian geese have a black head with a white collar and a brown body. A migratory bird, but populations that don't migrate exist and are steadily on the rise.
Gosling is the term for the offspring of geese. They are covered in yellow down with a gray tint and grow rapidly.

Habitat:

Throughout North America, and they have been introduced to parts of Europe.

Notes:

Geese have the same mate their whole life.
