Description:

Author of Genus name: Could not find.
Description: Perennial plants, flowers typically don't last more than 24 hours. Native to Eurasia. There are 18 different recognized species that are classified under the name 'daylily' and generally go under the genus name of Hemerocallis. This one's flowers however was apparently purple.
General Distribution: Found in gardens and the wild across the world
Classification: Kingdom: Plantae Order: Asparagales Family: Xanthorrhoeaceae Genus: Hemerocallis Species: Specific species unknown. Obtains food by photosynthesis.
