The fruits of some Solanum are edible when ripe, but most have poisonous foliage, including your eggplant and tomato. I would avoid eating anything from this family other than the well known food crops.
I understand that it is related to eggplant and tomato. Would like to see a recipe! Thanks.
Its not dangerous.... Its edible and being used in south Indian food....
