Description:

A newly fledged baby sparrow, wich fell of it's nest...Unfortunately, it did not survive :(

Thank you for saving the birds, Sukanya.
Rescued a baby spotted dove that was being hassled by crows last week. It over-nighted at a neighbour's house and flew away the next day. My second happy ending after a series of sad tales involving over-adventurous/hurt avian fledglings.
Unfortunately, baby sparrows don't have a good prognosis when in human hands... Only 1 baby in 8, might survive long enough to be able to fly...If it was a swallow instead, it would be freed within weeks, but with sparrows it's different :(
