Description:

Red tailed hawk

Habitat:

California Delta near Jones Tract. Alfalfa just cut and the birds were feasting on the "roadkills" from the tractor.

Notes:

This is the largest gathering of raptors I have ever seen. at least 20 sitting birds... This is the only Redtail but there many others.
