Spectacular observation, Lauren! Cucujidae is a very similar family when it comes to this family. Whoever had this beetle in mind was thinking the same thing as you, Lauren, as the species name is "cucujiforme," roughly translating to "shaped like a Cucujid."
Definitely an adult and does look like a Cerambycid with those wrap-around eyes and the tarsi. It also looks a little like a Cucujidae, but the eyes and tarsi don't fit a Cucujid as well.
On the door frame by our porch light Lauren. I assumed it was a small ant until I saw it through my macro! Interestingly it appears to be an adult as it looks to have wings.
Wow! I never saw one so small, where did you find it?
