Description:

Family: Geometridae, Subfamily: Sterrhinae. (Wave moths) A common bright very tiny male geometer moth. Wingspan: 18-26 mm. This was probably at the low end of the range. Deep yellow wings have wide pink median and weaker ST lines. FW has pink discal dot. Fringe on all wings is pink. Male has bipetinate antennae. Hosts: low plants including chickweed, clover, knotweed, and smartweed.
