Description:

Green stem with small white / light green seed pods

Habitat:

This was coming up out of the top of a fern located on the edge of a pond.

Notes:

At first glance I thought there were larvae in a mass on this plant...however, at a closer glance I realized it was seed pods (?) which were a part of the plant.
