Species ID Suggestions

Comments (5)

This one would have pores instead of gills... like foam rubber from Clark's. :-) Here's one I found last week probably a very similar species if not the same. http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/324716098
Stem was definitely a reddish colour, not so sure about the gills
Likely an Aussie one then. Interesting that it's almost an upside down cap shape. Red stem and pores? might help with ID possibilities. Boletus sp.
Aprox. 10cm diameter, in a bushland reserve dominated by Eucalyptus with very few exotic species present
Definitely a boletus.. size? surrounding plant life?
