Field Notes

Description:

Forceps-like cerci at terminal end

Habitat:

Garden. After a sharp shower of rain follwing haer-wave conditions for a week.

Notes:

I was afraid I would get my lens wet but the earwig was running around in such a demented fashion that it was a shame not to shoot it...finally it rested against a perimeter boundary and I could stand in a sheltered balcony of sorts and use the zoom. You can see the water droplets on its body.
