Field Notes

Description:

Snowball Bush. The Snowball Bush is commonly grown as an ornamental plant for its flowers and berries. This flowering shrub will grow up to 12 feet tall and 15 feet wide and prefers moist, humus-rich, moderately alkaline soil that drains well. It does well in sun or partial shade. In late spring, the snowball bush will be covered with pure white snow-ball like flower clusters. Birds love the fruit of this plant in the fall.

Habitat:

In my daughter's backyard.
