Size: 4 - 5 mm ; Basic colour: red ; Pattern colour: black spots ; Number of spots: 7-11 ; Black spots occasionally surrounded by a thin yellow ring ; Spot fusions: not common ; Melanic (black) form: no

Habitat:

Habitat is varied, but particularly dune systems like on the location where I have found it. It is a ladybird species endemic to the Old World.
