Hi Emily, the green leaves are a part of the flowering plant. I don't think your suggestion is right, but thank you! Your suggestion gives me a good place to start!
Emily, I'm not 100% sure -- is the green foliage in the picture the leaves to the plant? If so, it's probably not the monkey-flower. Hard to tell! :) Beautiful little bloom!
