A bee? Totally embedded in pollen inside a squash blossom. About 1.5 cm in length.

This is probably a Squash bee (Peponapis pruinosa)
Isn't it cool, Mark? I think it must have crawled into there when we had a heavy rainstorm and decided to stay with the nectar of the gods and cash out for a few hours. hehe (And yes, we all feed well out of my garden. I experimented with raised beds this year and will never go back! They're beautifully prolific!)
