Field Notes

Description:

Small (~ 1cm length overall) yellowish spider with longitudinally symmetric brown markings on body and brown bands on legs.

Habitat:

Pacific Northwest suburban area.

Notes:

Spotted along a street, in its web, suspended between the lower branches of a tree and the ground. Part of the web is faintly visible in the lower right portion of the photo.
